On a sheet of paper with the proper heading, make the title "Examining Theme of The Interlopers".
1. On your paper, complete the sentence "The theme of The Interlopers is...."
2. Based off of the written text itself, the images we viewed, and the video clip, write 2-3 sentences explaining which one does a better job in showing the theme. If you were out for testing, write TESTING on your paper beside #2.
3. Compose a paragraph explaining the theme of The Interlopers. Be sure to include specific evidence from the text to support your explanation. Make sure that your topic sentence includes the title of the work, the author (Saki), and the theme itself. Use examples from the text, pictures and/or the video to support your explanation. DO NOT use "I", "I think", "In my opinion", etc. There should be no reference to yourself. You are writing this as fact. So, whatever you state the theme is, it is!
